The mirror story

What works for you, finally works for them.

Over the last five years, peptides have moved from clinical research into mainstream wellness. BPC-157 for gut healing. GHK-Cu for skin and hair. NAD+ for cellular energy. The science crossed over, and millions of people felt the difference.

The biology of mammals is shared. The same signaling molecules that help humans recover, regenerate, and age more comfortably can do the same work in a dog or cat — once they're formulated for the right species, dose, and delivery format.

That formulation work is what PeptaPaws exists to do.

The basics

What is a peptide, exactly?

Peptides are short chains of amino acids — the same building blocks proteins are made of, just shorter. Think of them as messengers. If proteins are the heavy machinery doing the work in your pet's body, peptides are the switches and dials telling that machinery what to do, when, and where.

Targeted, not blunt.

Why “targeted” matters.

A traditional anti-inflammatory tells the whole body to dial inflammation down. That works — but the message goes everywhere, which is why side effects pile up over time.

A peptide is different. It's a text message to one specific contact, not a broadcast to the whole neighborhood. It binds to the receptors it's built for and leaves the rest alone. That precision is the reason peptides moved from a niche research tool into the wellness mainstream — and the reason they make sense in a daily pet supplement.

The range

Four formulas. One for every life stage.

The ingredients

The peptides we work with.

A short tour of the signaling peptides that show up in our formulas, and what each one is built to support. The deeper write-ups live in the science blog.

BPC-157
Body Protection Compound

Originally identified in gastric juice; one of the most-studied peptides in regenerative research. We use it to support gut barrier integrity, tendon and ligament resilience, and recovery after everyday strain.

GHK-Cu
Copper tripeptide-1

A naturally-occurring copper-binding peptide found in mammalian blood and saliva. A peer-reviewed canine study documented its support for skin, hair follicle, and paw-pad health — one of the strongest direct validations for canine use of any peptide.

TB-500
Thymosin Beta-4 fragment

A synthetic fragment of a protein found in nearly every animal cell. Supports cell migration and tissue resilience; commonly paired with BPC-157 for synergistic recovery support in active dogs.

Epitalon
Pineal-derived tetrapeptide

A four-amino-acid peptide studied for its role in cellular aging, sleep regulation, and immune function. The cornerstone of our VITALITY formula for senior pets.

Collagen peptides
Hydrolyzed collagen

The most accessible and well-tolerated peptide on the market. Supports joint structure, skin and coat condition, and the connective tissue that holds an active dog together.

NAD+ precursors
NMN / NR cofactors

Not technically peptides, but a close cousin in the cellular-wellness category. Support mitochondrial energy production — particularly relevant for senior pets whose cells are working harder for less return.

Why PeptaPaws

Three things we will not compromise on.

Veterinarian-informed formulation

Each formula is reviewed by integrative-medicine veterinarians before it's manufactured. We don't ship anything we wouldn't put in our own pets' bowls.

USA cGMP manufacturing

Produced in FDA-registered, cGMP-certified facilities under National Animal Supplement Council (NASC) standards — the industry's quality benchmark for animal supplements.

Made for

Is PeptaPaws right for your pet?

Our formulas are built around three real-world situations most pet parents recognize.

For senior pets

The dog or cat who's slowing down

Stiffer mornings. Less spring on the stairs. A coat that doesn't catch the light the way it used to. Senior pets benefit from cellular and connective-tissue support that conventional senior diets don't deliver on their own.

For active dogs

The athlete, the worker, the weekend warrior

Sporting and working breeds, agility competitors, weekend hikers. Dogs who live at full speed pay for it in their tendons, ligaments, and joints. MOVE is built for daily resilience, not after-the-fact rescue.

For wellness pet parents

The pet of someone who already takes peptides

If you take BPC-157, NAD+, or a GLP-1 yourself — you already understand the category. PeptaPaws is the compliant, species-appropriate version of the wellness regimen you're already running for yourself.

Common questions

What people ask before their first order.

Some peptides are FDA-approved as drugs for specific human and veterinary uses (insulin, oxytocin, certain GLP-1 medications). The signaling peptides in supplements like ours are regulated as animal nutritional supplements under FDA Center for Veterinary Medicine oversight, and we manufacture under National Animal Supplement Council (NASC) standards. We're a supplement, not a drug, and our claims are limited to supporting normal structure and function — not treating disease.
It depends on the pet, the formula, and what you're hoping to support. Coat and skin changes (GLOW) are often the most visible — many owners notice a difference in 4–6 weeks. Joint comfort and recovery support (RESTORE, MOVE) typically need a consistent 6–8 weeks. Cellular and longevity support (VITALITY) is a longer game; the daily ritual matters more than the first month.
Fair question — this is where formulation work matters. Some peptides survive digestion well in the right delivery format; others need protective carriers or are paired with cofactors that act on the same pathways. Our chews and powders are formulated specifically for canine and feline gut transit, not lifted from human protocols. We're transparent: oral delivery isn't always equivalent to injection, but it's the right format for daily, owner-administered care — and that's the mission.
GLOW and VITALITY have cat-friendly options at appropriate dosing for feline metabolism. RESTORE and MOVE are dog-only at launch. Cats process many compounds differently than dogs, and we'd rather under-promise on feline products than ship something we haven't formulated specifically for them. A dedicated cat range is on our roadmap.
Yes — especially if your pet is on prescription medications, has a chronic condition, or is in active cancer treatment. PeptaPaws is a daily wellness supplement, not a substitute for veterinary care. We provide ingredient panels and dosing information that make it easy to share with your vet.
